Look, I'm sorry for the way he died, it was cruel, and I wouldn't wish it on anybody, not even Bill the Rooster, whom I hated because ever since he learned to crow, I haven't had a full night's sleep. That would be over 4 months, I think.
So, yesterday I heard a ruckus in the next-door neighbor's back yard. Seems like Brownie, their dog, got mad at Bill. Bill got WAY TOO CLOSE to his bone, and Brownie (Brownie looks like a Great Dane/Shepherd mix) grabbed Bill with his teeth and shook him real hard, twice.
Ever since then, silence. Silence is golden. Silence is peaceful. Silence is wonderful. I woke up at 4 a.m., and nothing. I was able to turn over and continue sleeping, until, oh, around 6 or 7 a.m. Heaven. HEAVEN!
I'm sorry he died the way he did, but, I'm not sorry he's gone. I slept all night.

Enid I understand . Our neighbor across the road used to raise dogs and they barked all night long.. I was glad when something happened and they had to get rid of them.
