I just read an excellent article on parenting. ANYbody who has family, wife, husband, children, grands, etc. can benefit from it, and it's very very short.

Excellent! When my three kids were growing up I made a point to have a special day with each one of them individually about once a month. As they got older, these special days grew into a weekend about every three months. We would go for a road trip, explore a cave, visit a historical site.... We remember and talk about those trips now every time we get together. Priceless!
