WIP: Crochet Summer Splendor Doily

I want to make 4 of these doilies:

This lovely doily is a pattern designed by Denise Augostine, and my daughter just likes it so much, and so do I.  I just want to make one for myself, and one for each of my kids, so that we are linked, so to speak.  I know it's sentimental, but I hope they appreciate this.

I'm also hoping to make identical baby outfits, 3 sets, just in case I can't use thread when and if I ever have grandchildren.  Once I have that, then I will make afghans for each, maybe identical pattern but in different colors, I don't know.  Just something to link us all.

Very pretty!! What colours are you doing them in? I need to take a picture of my current WIP and post.

Very nice :) White, but not quite white.

Well, mine is ecru. The next one will be darker than that. I am going to make them different colors, I think. :) Thanks for reading.

Oh that's lovely! Ecru will make it look so classy too! Great color choice. :)

Yes, so very pretty! And, what a wonderful thought to have such personal links through items you have made.
