Café

I hear little birds calling to each other and to their babies, and sometimes a dog barking.  There are doves close to the front porch, singing their lonesome song, and I am here, sitting back, watching the sun go up, the clouds pass by, while the hustle and bustling city is awake, and trying to get to their jobs on time.

I'm blessed, so blessed that for now I can stay home and work here and tend to my home.  I am very grateful for this blessing I've received.  I hope the rest of my day is as tranquil as the start of it, and that yours is even better than mine.

How beautiful, River. Yes, having the luxury to be home is wonderful. You said it all so well.
