More Crochet

This is for a baby boy, born about a month ago.  Not any of my neighbors told me he had already been born.  I just saw the grandmother's car with a sign that said 'IT'S A BOY!" so I started to crochet (Beth's Little Star Afghan) .  Not much yarn, but this is what came out.  Perhaps it would have been better with more solid blue, but it's already been given to the new mother.

Next time will make a yellow star, then use the Bernat Softee Denim Blue, then the Pale Blue on the outside.  Might look better.

Thanks for looking.

That is a beautiful afghan. Is the pattern on the internet? I would love to do one for some of my grands. Marge

MARGE: You can find the original pattern here:

I modified it a little so that the end of the round always ends smack in the middle of a corner and you can't tell where the beginning of the round is. I can write it out for you if you want.
