Crochet: Harvest Scarecrow :)

I just got out my Crochet Harvest Scarecrow, crocheted some years ago for my husband to put on the sofa at his studio, but now I have it here.  I really like it, but I wish the neck were more firm.

I'm thinking of making another one, and later, some doilies or coasters using a gold cotton thread, with a gold filament going through it.

What a cute scarecrow! :) Isn't it fun when Fall arrives and we can get out and use all of the warm weather decorations and clothing?

Hugs,
Lois

Marjol, I found this pattern in the Leisure Arts book, "presented by Oxmoor House, called IN LOVE WITH CROCHET, and it's called Pumpkin Patch Pal, by Lee Tribett.
